The MU Class of ’23 is a self-development Music and Creative Arts project taking place throughout the Summer holidays for 14-18 year olds. The programme is designed for those who have recently left school or are preparing to do so without any further education, training, or employment secured.
The programme is absolutely free for all participants thanks to the generous funding from the Million Hours Fund through The National Lottery Community Fund’s Awards for All England programme. Hosted by In Music In Media at the MU Creative Space multi-media studios, this programme aims to provide young individuals with support in their areas of creative interest and explore potential career pathways.
The In Music In Media team offer professional support in content creation, content packaging and professional profiling with a professional film crew who will direct the visual self-documentation of the programme to capture a raw, unfiltered insight into the lives of these young individuals, shedding light on the support systems available to them, how they interact with the participants, and the profound impact this support has on their lives.
The MU Class of ’23 is a shining example of how creativity, mentorship, and community support can change lives through exploring creative interests, develop new skills, and building meaningful relationships with mentors and peers.
